- Benjamin Shorofsky: What brings you down here to our fair madhouse?
- Jim Hamilton: [fast, sing song voice] The seventh avenue bus!
- Lydia Grant: Well the answer is no.
- Elizabeth Sherwood: Then why are you so angry?
- Lydia Grant: I'm not angry! I'm mad.
- Benjamin Shorofsky: [quietly] Gott in Himmel.
- Jim Hamilton: Well, you're going to have to get in line and get a number, there's already a few ahead of you.
- Lydia Grant: Where are they hiding?
- Jim Hamilton: Oh, on the phone. Lets see, we've got Doris, three times. We've got, eh, Danny, twice, and then there's Leroy.
- Lydia Grant: Leroy isn't even in the show.
- Jim Hamilton: No, he called, he said Michael was driving him crazy.
- Jim Hamilton: Sure, so the message is 'quitters never win', huh?
- Quentin Morloch: No, you got that upside down. Quitters never lose. That's why they quit. You can't be blamed for something if you never even try.
- Caruso: [Jim and Lydia are moving to Bruno's keyboard] Is that ok with you?
- Bruno Martelli: No way!
- [hands Caruso his mop and takes off his apron]
- Caruso: Wait, wait a minute, wait a minute, wait. You're not gonna fight with a blind guy, are you?
- Bruno Martelli: Fight with a blind guy? I'm gonna sit in with him!
