Goofs

During the shoot out in the hotel room, Ryker is using a revolver with a sound suppressor. A sound suppressor is absolutely useless on a revolver, since the muzzle gases leave already at the gap between the drum and the barrel, hence a bang is already audible. See more »

A total blast

Plot; When a mysterious man jumps bail, Colt and Howie follow him to Hawaii where they find themselves mixed up in a tangled plot involving government agencies, deadly assassins and international terrorists.

We have a reunion of sorts this week as William Smith and Erin Gray (each from the most recent episode of Buck Rogers that I watched) join stuntman/bounty hunter Colt Seavers (the great Lee Majors) in this tale of international intrigue. The last time I saw him, the former looked like a buff version of Jack Palance. Here he looks more like a buff version of Harvey Keitel. Once again he's the bad guy (or so it seems), but that's not exactly a surprise.

This first of a two-parter moves at a breakneck pace, deftly mixing action, comedy and mystery into an intoxicatingly fun cocktail. My reintroduction to 'The Fall' guy has been an enjoyable one thus far, but this is the series firing on all cylinders. Though no one is going to mistake it for anything other than what it is, I must ask again "What's wrong with that?".
