great entertainment ...a signature episode!
15 June 2009 | by (Austria) – See all my reviews

First let me say that 'The Fall Guy' is definitely my favorite TV show! Of course many shows today are better, more complex TV, but if you are looking for pure entertainment the adventures of Colt, Howie and Jody with that unique mix of action, humor and great characters have never been beaten! ...at least not in my book!

Anyway the 'Death Boat' episode is a fun ride from start to finish! First the opening stunt is pretty cool, featuring lots of destruction! Second we get to meet insurance investigator Kay Faulkner again - one of the show's few returning side characters – and of course she clashes wonderfully with Colt! Apart from that Colt and Howie are posing as millionaires. Colt as some kind of texan-oil-baron and Howie as a more dandy-style guy complete with wheelchair and Jody as his private nurse! Action wise there is one of the shows best car chases including an explosive finale, a boat chase (also explosive) and a helicopter vs. car chase climaxing in one of the stunts featured in the shows title sequence! What more can you ask for!?

...in short the greatest example for brainless, 80s flavored entertainment ever!!! I loved it!
