Trying to make you care about an awful man?
planktonrules27 September 2023
The story begins with an ex-con breaking Doc Lacy (John McIntire) out of prison. Why? Because Lacy apparently is a criminal genius and they need him to help with a very daring robbery of a military payroll. Along the way, some nice guys get shot, some explosives are stolen and a nationwide manhunt occurs as a result.

This is an odd episode in that I think the writer wanted viewers to feel a bit sorry for the elderly Lacy. However, he was a pretty awful person and shot a cop after his escape...and this makes the story a bit confusing. Apart from that, it's a pretty average episode and one that I recommend you see...which is pretty much what I'd say about all the episodes of this excellent series.
