When the episode begins, an old friend of Erskine gives him a lead that helps him catch a counterfieter. However, after investigating the case further, it becomes apparent to Erskine that the man they subsequently arrested isn't some master counterfeiter but some poor guy who's being sacrificed to the law. Why would this friend do this? And, what do he and the man they have in custody have in common?
Edward Andrews and Susan Oliver star in this one and it's a dandy episode. While not among the best in the series, it's well done and interesting.
