Robert and Amy finally get married. But it's not the wedding they expected.
Did You Know?
Executive Producer Phil Rosenthal and his wife Monica Horan who plays Amy, did a similar dance at their real life wedding that Amy and Robert do. Doris Roberts won an Emmy in 2003 for her performance in this episode and "Marie's Vision". Brad Garrett won an Emmy for his performance in this episode and "Just a Formality". This is the first Everybody Loves Raymond season finale where the story wasn't a flashback. Since this episode ran about 45 minutes, it has been broken into two episodes when rerun in syndication. The "first part" of this episode often begins with clips involving Robert and Amy from past seasons. See more
When Amy is getting ready before the wedding, we see another woman wearing the same dress as Debra, presumably a bridesmaid. During the ceremony, at the altar, we see Robert and Amy, Ray and Debra, and Amy's brother Peter, presumably an usher. The bridesmaid is nowhere in sight. She is, however, spotted later at the reception. See more
