Quotes

Robert Barone: So you're stuck with Debra's parents for the whole weekend, huh?
Raymond 'Ray' Barone: Well, we hardly ever get to see them so when they come up we want to spend as much time as possible with them... I've been told that's how I feel.

Devastating secrets are revealed!

This is a typical winner for Everybody Loves Raymond. When their Thanksgiving episode comes around, there's no holding back with in-laws clashing and Raymond in the middle of it, not doing a thing to stop it. With truly hilarious comparisons between Debra and Ray's parents, this is a cleverly written episode of fun and games.

Moments to be remembered are that of Ray's hiding in the garage while Debra's parents argue over their marriage counselling arrangements, Debra's sudden outburst and the ending. There are moments in between where the writers have copied scenarios from previous episodes, which have been quite similar in the past. Debra's mother goes a little out of her character at times and it appears awkward, but nonetheless, this is a thoroughly enjoyable episode of Raymond with Marie sticking her nose in every which way.

Yes, a typical day for Debra!
