Ray's cousin Gerard
5 February 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The third part of this episode has to be one of the funniest things that I've ever seen on television.

In the basement, Raymond tries to "help" Gerard, and then points out how "mopey" he seems. Raymond decides to help Gerard improve himself and makes several suggestions.

Gerard's attempt to smile is simply hilarious. Between the facial adjustments and both of them saying, "now," it makes for a laugh-out-loud moment.

Fred Stoller plays Gerard, and he's perfectly cast and just nails the performance as the whiny version of Raymond. I think this is one of those episodes that will have you laughing and hitting the rewind button on the remote.
