Everybody should LOVE This. . .
1 May 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Just a glance at the cast list and you can see you are in for a treat. This show is always charming, funny and well-written. Now, add to it the bonus of Jimmy JJ Walker in his priceless turn as Rochelle's father and the Casting God has shined on this show once again. Loretta Devine as his wife is, as always, fantastic. It is always great to see this wonderful lady and with her recent appearances on Grey's Anatomy, this has been a very good season (for me, an admitted Loretta Devine fan!) To picture the woman she created as Rochelle's mother and to imagine her life as Jimmy's wife is almost as funny as the scripted material itself. This episode is another reason why Thursday nights belong to Chris and his Crew in my home.
