- Turtle understandably doubts Johnny Drama's hope that Brooke Shields might dig him at their set while he plays her brother Little Rick on the Movie of The Week project. They are supposed to hug each other in a scene. Brooke is married to a writer.
Terrance invites Vince for a round of clay shots at his home. Vince takes the guys along with him. Terrance courts Vince by offering him a meeting with Quentin Tarantino, something Vince admits that he has been wanting to do for years. Ari is worried about Terrance courting Vince so openly.
Now Mandy has dumped Chris, Vince is looking forward to her birthday party- the professionals (Ari and Shauna) abhor the press for bringing that out, even Warner Bros fears that could make Aquaman appear a home-wrecker. Shauna says that its E's job to let her know about these things so she can keep them out of the papers.
E says that they have been dating 24 hours, so Vince should take flowers.
Terrance offers Vince a private dinner at his restaurant The Geisha House (to celebrate Mandy's birthday). Even after a good meeting with Mandy and the boys at Jerry's Deli (Mandy joins them for lunch), E advises against the big birthday bash (the private dinner, as there could be paparazzi there), but is ignored by Vince. Vince admits that he is deep into her and wants to know what the real problem is.
E tells Vince that Mandy dumped him & she dumped her fiance 3 weeks before the wedding. He doesn't feel she is the stable type. Vince gets angry and asks him not to come to the birthday party.
Vince wants to do something special for Mandy's birthday & likes the Robert Nitsch painting in Ari's office. Ari says that's a $100,000 painting and E interrupts that Terrance would definitely sell it to them, or even gift it to them. Ari gifts the painting to Vince (He wants to show Vince that he cares for him more than Terrance).
Sloan tells E (at dinner, the night before Mandy's birthday party) the painting agent Ari Gold gave Vince, who was prepared to buy it as a gift for Mandy, is a fake (Sloan says that Ari is famous for hanging fakes in his office to impress clients). Sloan also admits that she likes E. E invites Sloan to Mandy's birthday party organized by Vince.
E questions Ari, who doesn't confess but still switches the copy with the real thing he gave his wife as anniversary present. Ari tells E that he is also angry with Vince about taking the Tarantino meeting with Terrance, without his knowledge.
At the read-ins Drama suggests to Brooke that in their comforting scene, a little kiss might add to the pathos. Brooke tells Drama that they are playing brother and sister in the movie and hence a kiss is inappropriate.
Drama gets a hard on, when he hugs Brooke during his scene with her. Brooke complains to the directors, & Drama is kicked off the project.
Mandy is tickled-pink with the Nitsch.
