- Vince is taking big risks, listening to Turtle rather then E, Ari and his financial adviser: without a new role in the pocket, he is tempted to buy a Hollywood house, and one of true star status, which means an outrageous price, a multiple of his $1,000,000 limit, but the idea of being the next owner of Marlon Brandon's former villa with private pool is irresistible. Yet Vince still won't commit to sign for Aquaman, actually declares he won't play a ridiculous 'cartoon character' and seems decided against the part when he sees the costume design, E and Ari must pull all the stops to change his mind. Meanwhile party life goes on, with Johnny Drama focusing on getting his lifelong ban revoked at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion. It takes a lot of doing, after being found out in Vince's car trunk they nearly get all banned, but then...—KGF Vissers
- Vince is taking big risks, listening to Turtle rather than E, Ari and his financial adviser: without a new role in the pocket, he is tempted to buy a Hollywood house, and one of true star status, which means an outrageous price, a multiple of his $1,200,000 limit (which his accountant Marvin has set for him if he passes on Aquaman. When the guys see a few houses they realize that $ 1.2 million does buy you much in LA), but the idea of being the next owner of Marlon Brandon's former villa with private pool is irresistible (even if it's for 4.0 MM $$). Marvin, Vince's accountant calls Vince & tells him that he can't afford the house. He can stay for 2 months tops unless he can find another gig for himself.
Yet Vince still won't commit to sign for Aquaman, declares he won't play a ridiculous 'cartoon character' and seems decided against the part when he sees the costume design (which he is shown in a meeting with Dana Gordon & her boss John Ellis (Alan Dale) (the head of Warner Bros studios). E and Ari must pull all the stops to change his mind. Vince is angry at E that he is now suddenly agreeing with Ari. Vince is adamant that he won't do a movie where he has to wear a costume, or anything else other than a t-shirt.
Meanwhile party life goes on, with Johnny Drama focusing on getting his lifelong ban revoked at Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion. Vince has been invited to a Playboy mansion party, but Drama can't go due to the ban. Drama doesn't know what he did to Hugh Heffner that he is mad at him. Vince has to ask Shauna to figure it out. Shauna comes back telling Vince that back in the day Drama got inside Hef's zoo and let free all the chimps. One of the monkeys damaged playmates face and caused financial damage to Hef.
Drama says that it was Ralf Macchio (The Karate Kid) who went to party as Drama's plus one, got drunk & freed the monkeys. He tries to get Ralf (who is married now), to make the call to Hef, but he refuses as he is also going to the party. Drama tries to sneak into the mansion by hiding in the Maserati's trunk, but is found by the security guards & thrown out. Turtle lets Drama in via Hef's zoo, which is unguarded. Once in, Drama picks a fight with Ralf Macchio, which is noticed by Hef. Vince has to step in and vouch for Drama. That's when Drama & Ralf remember that it was Pauly who set the monkey's free. Pauly is duly arrested and thrown out of the mansion with a lifetime ban. Hef apologizes to Vince.
That night, Vince admits to E & Ari that he liked the script but is not sure about the costume. Ari tells Vince that the studio wants to shoot 2 movies with Vince with $ 5 M for the first and $ 7 M for the second. If there is a 3rd, $12 M for that one. Their production budget is $ 100 M. Ari promises Vince suit approval and Vince agrees to lock it down.
