In this full-on satire of capitalism, the central character (played by Rene Auberjonois) introduces himself : "Donald Cherkenlagenhagenflagen is the name, but you can just call me The Donald", the same 'nickname' being used in the popular press by this time (1991) for Donald J. Trump. The send-up of capitalism, marketing, consumerism and advertising is summarized when Marshall (Omri Katz) confronts The Donald: "Nobody turns my family into zombies and gets away with it." The Donald retorts, "They're not zombies, they're consumers," as Dash-X (Jason Marsden) chimes in, "Yeah, besides, how can you tell the difference?"
