  • A bishop (James Cromwell) returns to the ER but refuses to be admitted; a 16-year old boy (Josh Peck) doesn't want a third heart transplant. A homosexual couple struggles with using protection to prevent the non-infected partner from getting aids and Malucci must learn delicacy and tact in the matter. John and Abby go to a charity function and see her ex-husband and his young date. Weaver takes another step in defining her homosexuality. Elizabeth and Mark grow closer to their pending chld's birth and adjust to their new way of life. Romano does not like the new Mark and wants the old one back.
