Storyline

Nurse Hathaway is wondering if she made the right career choice. The interns seem to be getting younger and in some areas she is already far more knowledgeable that they are. She is now considering taking pre-med courses at a local college. Dennis Gant is feeling the pressure to perform better. Dr. Carter forgets that Dr. Benton is to make a slide presentation on a surgical technique - and he hasn't yet told him that all of the materials were lost in the apartment fire. Doug Ross hits rock bottom when a woman he picks up in a bar has to be rushed to the ER. Doug knows nothing about her however. Jeanie Boulet is having difficulty adjusting to her medication. Abby Keaton tells Benton that he needs to take a greater interest in the patient if he's to succeed in pediatric surgery. Benton finally visits Carla Reece's restaurant. Written by garykmcd

Last Call (#3.4)
8 December 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Doug is now facing his trouble with women as his one night stand has a seizure and ends up dying while he doesn't even know her name. A pretty interesting idea. I am not sure why Mark said it affected the ER, if Doug weren't with her she would have just died on her own, its not like he is responsible for the seizure.

Jeanie is still having her troubles. Now she is also realizing that she can't go out on a date.

Peter also finds out how he needs to work on his personality if he wants to do surgery on kids.

And it seems that we will have a Mark and Susan story as now he didn't receive a card. I think this little thing was preparation for more weirdness around them and then maybe they will end up together?
