Storyline

Dr. Kovac has a particularly bad shift on what was supposed to be his day off. It starts with a party at Susan's house where he drinks too much and ends up leaving with medical student Erin Harkins. After only a few hours sleep, he's called in to work. There, he makes a series of critical errors that leads to the mis-diagnosis of a young man, with catastrophic consequences. At the end of his shift, he gets into a serious car accident injuring Harkins. Elsewhere Frank and Jerry argue over who should be playing Santa and the team has to treat angry elves. Hindsight (#9.10)

In this episode we are going backwards to see what happened before Luka got into an accident while driving Erin home. Sometimes I like this approach, sometimes not so much. On this episode it took a while before I started to get interested and less confused.

It is hard to like Luka being into Abby. I don't get why him and Carter like her, she is the most unpleasant person there. And he is way out of her league. First I wasn't sure if I like him or not. The more I get to know him the more I do. Her, really not.

I am kind of worried he will get into trouble after what happened and the character will leave the show. They should maybe kill Abby off instead.
