Storyline

Although the staff is happy that the hospital will remain open, that doesn't mean there aren't changes on the way. The new Chief of Staff, Dr. Donald Anspaugh, has his own ideas on increasing the ER's productivity and a new intern, Maggie Doyle, joins the team. Carter gets into trouble with Anspaugh when he lies about the seriousness of a patient's condition in order to book an operating room. His troubles continue when he learns his apartment building has burned down. Jeanie Boulet continues to struggle with her condition and Benton makes it clear he does not want her handling any of his cases. On a spur of the moment, Susan Lewis invites Mark Greene to go on holidays with her. Benton decides to pursue a fellowship in paediatric surgery. Written by garykmcd

Don't Ask, Don't Tell (#3.3)
8 December 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Jeanie's story progresses on a great level. Very emotional and beautifully shows her inner struggle on weather leave her job. The highlight was of course her conversation with Kerry. Laura Innes is great with this character. Sometimes one feels how annoying she is and why some of the staff doesn't like her and yet on others she is so much bigger than others involved. What she said to Jeanie was beautiful Also greatly written dialogue.

Besides this the episode has lots of extraordinary issues, like the kangaroo on the run(which I hope won' get killed), Carter's building exploding and the patient that kept on surviving.

We also got some new characters which I don't have too say much about yet but who I see will have potential.
