Storyline

Shep and Raul enter a house with about a dozen abandoned and undernourished children. They bring them to the ER where they keep the staff busy. Meanwhile, Vucelich lets Carter take care of Mrs. Rubadoux, whose condition doesn't improve and who didn't turn out to be good material for Vucelich's study. Dead of Winter (#2.11)
30 November 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

I am a bit surprised by how Jennifer sends Mark divorce papers. Sure it was obvious that they will separate but I didn't expect it to happen in such a vicious manner.

The story about the kids was a good idea, not just did it bring up a racial matter, but it also gives us a parallel to Susans situation who also takes care of the kid of a relative who does drugs.

The thing with the older woman who had a baby was pretty fun, now that is a surprise I would never want to get in my life.

And we also get the topic of caring about patients. Michael is nicer than I remember him ever be to the boy at the end and Carter is very sweet to the old man.
