Storyline

It's a busy shift for nurse Abby Lockhart. She is upset when Paul Sobriki is brought in for treatment after falling on the ice. Sobriki is the schizophrenic who stabbed Carter and killed medical student Lucy Knight two years ago. Abby also has to deal with a little boy who spent the night in the waiting room when his mother came into the ER for treatment. Her ex also lets her know that she is going to re-marry. Carter's mother reappears but it's not a happy reunion. He also meets Jing-Mei who thinks she knows why Kerry Weaver didn't answer her page. Mark Green thinks his daughter may be smoking. Kerry Weaver and Sandy Lopez go out on a second date but argue when Kerry is uncomfortable at the prospect of being outed. Written by garykmcd

Beyond Repair (#8.11)
5 April 2015 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

This was a pretty interesting episode. I like them bringing Paul back, this is the guy who killed Lucy and stabbed Carter. It was an unusual situation and was interesting to watch. I like the most how Susan handled it, she is indeed a professional doctor who understands what a disease is. Carter being shocked was no surprise of course, he has been traumatized by this guy. His reaction to seeing him was so well performed.

There are somehow way too many stories with Abby now, and I don't really like her, hope the character will soon enough go into background. Although her drinking might be an interesting story.
