The travelers discover a deserted town, a ghost town, Puddle Flats, which they rename Brookhaven, after the greedy entrepreneur, and they hit water, but are unaware that the army means to dynamite the town, while all the episodes are delightful, I rate highly this one, and of course some others as well, they weren't only straight comedy, but also parodies, spoofs, as in this, with the look of the empty town, etc.; the wagon-master becomes sheriff and, as he leaves to register the claim for the town, Dusty replaces him as the lawman, arresting Betsy as a land-grabber, and then all the others.

I am very in tune with this show's sense of humor, I enjoyed it instantly. Although I wouldn't dwell on the ugly disrepute of these teleplays, it's still a sad comment on the audiences' phoniness.
