Three aged Irish Republican Army veterans, O'Connell, Meager and Boyle, took an oath to eliminate all those responsible for the hanging of their compatriots in the rebellion against English rule. They now live in Cleveland, and there is only one more person left, the equally aged John Moore, who lives on Long Island, New York. The three travel there and make their presence known to Moore, who tells his son, Joe. But Joe does not believe his father.
