Beautifully touching
22 March 2008 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Watch it, then wind it back and watch the beginning in a new light. Very well written and acted. Both angles succeed fully in their intent.

I didn't think of Drew Carey as an actor until I saw this episode. Now I have the highest respect for him. Kate Walsh who plays Nicki Fifer is also brilliant, and it's refreshing to see a beautiful young actress in a fat suit who isn't playing it for shock-comedy.

I came online to see if this episode won some kind of special recognition, and was disappointed not to find anything. This is certainly one of my favourite TV episodes of anything, and purely off the top of my head, I cannot think of anything to better it.
