It starts off with Drake already having a bad record for being late to his English class. Apparently if Drake is late one more time, he is going to be punished severely. That day comes.
The bell rings and Drake is late. But what he does is have a girl (Vanessa Anne Hudgens) come into his English class and trick his teacher to come out long enough so he could slip in. Drake gives Becca (Ms. Hudgens) a kiss on the lips for her help and she exits. All goes well until Josh caves in to Drake's teacher's interrogation. He gets caught and is sentenced to either take remedial English or be a "big brother" for a day to a young child.
Drakes last encounter with remedial English was horrifying so he chooses the "big brother" option. It turns out that Josh is turns out to be a better "big brother" than Drake, be Drake can't have that. If Drake fails to be a "big brother", he is going to be sentence to remedial English. So what he does is uses connections and money to defeat Josh's sincerity and sentiments over the child.
In the end, Drake realizes that the child meant much to Josh so he releases his hold on the child. Which in turn lands Drake in remedial English. But Josh bails him out.
