Wow...what a math whiz!

Warning: Spoilers
My reference about the math whiz concerns the retired jeweler. See the episode and you'll understand what I mean! As for the episode itself, it is very interesting. A man is about to be paroled after 14 years in prison in Colorado. However, there is still an outstanding warrant from California and Friday and Gannon have been given the case to investigate. They are to determine if anyone STILL wants to prosecute any of the three charges outstanding. As for the first, the person lodging the old complaint is dead, so this charge is dropped. The second concerns this retired jeweler. He is a very interesting and decent man. The third is the prisoner's old employer--and THAT is what gets very, very interesting. The story about WHY the man snapped and committed the crimes as well as the sort of man his employer was makes for great, but sad, viewing.

Overall, one of the better episodes despite it's unusual structure and story. Well worth seeing and a great exploration of human nature.

As usual, another standout performance by Alice Backes as Bert Johnson.
