Storyline

Mr. and Mrs. Popple of Glasgow are a poor but virtuous middle-aged couple whose way of life changes drastically when Mr. Popple finds that every time he puts his hands into his trouser pocket, it contains a new pound note. The government presents Mr. Popple with a new pair of trousers in exchange for the old ones but it still happens every time that he puts his hands into his pocket. Written by GusF
