Doris and Peter are celebrating the one year anniversary of their first date. As a gift, Peter buys her an antique car she admired while on that first date, the car who she names Clara. As she loves the car and the sentiment attached to it, Doris sells her only other car. Because of Clara, Doris misses one appointment after another, both professional and personal, with Doris and Clara needing to be towed to get from place to place more often than not. These late arrivals threatens all of Doris' relationships. Regardless, Doris still loves Clara, who she believes can be repaired to her original glory. Sam, the mechanic, may give Doris a better perspective on Clara. Written by
