Duncan, Paul and Dick are sexually frustrated. None of the current crop of St. Swithins' nurses are worth dating. Then they espy the stunning Nurse Christine Dobbs, whom they rechristen 'Nurse Boobs'. A race gets underway to see who can take her out first. Duncan looks the favourite, as he has been sending her sexy notes through Sister Fowles. Just one snag - Dobbs is happily married, and her husband is a doctor at the hospital...
One of the most outrageously sexist episodes of the series, somewhat reminiscent of 'Carry On Doctor', though not as funny. When Carol Cleveland's 'Nurse Dobbs' tours the wards, you half expect to hear Eric Rogers' bouncy music from that film. Cleveland, of course, was appearing in 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' at that time. Miriam Margolyes is seen fleetingly as a Highcross nurse called 'Doris'.
Paul's lighthearted references to rape have alas dated the show badly.
Funniest moment - an angry Dobbs moves to hit Duncan with a bed pan, he ducks, but the pan connects with his skull as he straightens up.
