Scary without goar or horror, those were the days.
22 October 2007 | by See all my reviews

This was the great kind of "Scary" for kids back in the 50's & 60's. We saw no blood or guts. It was just a good scary tale of ghost & goblins. Those were the good old days. I suggest this one to any family to watch with their 6 & 7 year olds. This is very high quality as Uncle Walt would have us see. Bing Crosby narrates and has us all on the edge of our seats with his tone and temblor of voice. This is told as a ghost tale should be, brilliant narration and story telling used to exist for our entertainment benefit. I wish Uncle Walt were around today to criticize some of the new shows and specials that have lost the story telling art. Yes this is a cartoon. There is good job of development of story, plot, and hero. I really like this one.
