A fun compilation of Disney vacation-themed cartoons.
21 November 2013 | by (California, USA) – See all my reviews

I first saw this episode of "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" on a video rental from my local video store. It is a actually a compilation of various Disney cartoons with stories all centered around vacation time. You will see cartoons including those titled Dude Duck, Bubble Bee, Canine Caddy, Goofy and Wilbur, Mickey's Trailer and Hawaiian Holiday (1937). The entire program is narrated by Jiminy Cricket, who is filling in for Walt Disney, who is out on vacation. You see the animated Jiminy Cricket sitting in Disney's actual, real office.

This is a fun episode to watch and it is neat to see all the vacation-themed cartoons presented this way. Mickey's Trailer is my favorite out of all of them; though, like most of Disney's cartoons, they are a joy to watch.
