A Good Lesson In This Episode

Warning: Spoilers
This is another episode I remember seeing this in syndication, and it taught another good lesson. In this, Baby learns a bad word, smoo from a show Earl is watching, and he can't stop saying it. Yeah, the show dealt with real-life issues, and this is one of them, which is why it was banned from airing when Disney Channel aired the series. So, the episode has Earl taking the easy way out of doing the right thing to solve the problem (taking time to play with his child instead of putting him in front of the TV) and soon, it snowballs to the point where at a council meeting, the words are banned, and new laws are made.

Yeah, this is a good episode. The writers made up clever words to represent what the show's world declares swear words (as this is a show on TGIF, a block meant for families). Also, the ending shows the actual consequence of getting such words outlawed, as Earl and his group manages to get it outlawed, but the group soon gets out of control and starts making new rules, some which Earl is against, but is outvoted by his neighbors, thus hammering in the moral that parents, not government, should take responsibility and keep kids from hearing bad language.
