I think Fog may well be my favourite episode of this great show, it has so much going for it. Dinnerladies was a very smart, well written, clever comedy, with wonderful one liners and clever situation, add some farce and slapstick into the mix and you have Fog. It's thirty minutes of wonderfully zany, madcap bonkers fun. The whole scenario is a work of genius, but Malcolm, Bobby, Jean's boyfriend and of course the escaped prisoner are all hilariously funny.
I think if I had to pick a favourite moment it's the way Stan delivers that well known line to Anita about Malcolm, it is a joyous moment, said in such a dry way.
Comedy with a heart, this was perfect. 10/10.
