Mark tries rollerskating, even to work when his car won't start again. Then he tries a traditional Indian purification rite on an Ogala Sioux patient Clarke to relieve his sinusitis, in front of his med class. After a root canal, Mark gets a call and visit at home from TV investment guru Robin Westlin, who believes he's been poisoned and dies right there; but when the paramedics arrive both his car and corpse have disappeared. Steve thinks it's a laughing gas induced hallucination, but Mark finds Robin's dropped pocket diary. Westlin's chief deputy Tim Rutland, his secretary as well as his wife Meg, claim Robin is alive, but he's nowhere to be found. So the Sloans, Jack as 'psychiatric outpatient Mark's shrink' and 'reporter' Amanda snoop on at the Westlin Institute. Written by KGF Vissers

The missing Robin Westlin
5 December 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Robin Westlin is the head of a get-rich-fast type organization, and he goes missing after wandering into Dr Sloan's house (which is on Colorado Drive, implying this episode was filmed in Colorado). Anyway, Dr Sloan is not living in a beach house which we are familiar with when he and the rest of the production moved to LA and lovely beach views that are often a battleground between home owners and innocent folk who just want to enjoy what belongs to the public.

Anyway, one minor blooper in this episode, the appearance of a boom mic at the top of the screen.

Norman Briggs is played by the great Michael Tucci, and for some reason I think he's the brother of Stanley "Monk" Tucci, but the internet assures me they're not related so that settles it.
