Obsession: Part 2 is suspenseful and explosive quite literally, and makes you wonder about miscarriage of justice and the death penalty. Orson Bean guest starred in Part 1 as the convicted murderer on death row. By way of trivia, Orson was married to Alley Mills (of Wonder Years fame) and in fact he was 23 years older than her (Michael Douglas is 25 years older than Catherine Zeta Jones).
Anyway, this features the return of a couple of minor characters: Harry Lennix as Amanda's on-again and off-again boyfriend, and Connie Blankenship as Sharon Ellison, ADA. In real life Connie became a luxury real estate agent. Also in real life Harry later became, quite seriously, an Obama impersonator.
