Old time spy fans should love this
17 June 2016 | by See all my reviews

I'm watching this because Robert Culp is in it. It has a kinda silly plot about spies, but Culp is always interesting. Then Barbara Bain from Mission Impossible comes on. Then another actor from a different spy series comes on. Then another one. All from secret agent shows in the 60's and 70's. The dialogue isn't great but seeing all these TV spies from the past is a blast! And it becomes clear that the title - Discards - is meant apply to plot elements as well as the actors themselves, although fans of those series will argue that the actors prove that they are more than just "discards".

Roughly, the plot involves an attempt by unknown people to resurrect an old spy network that some of the actors were part of.
