Storyline

Kendra Masterson commits -we see so- elaborately planned crimes, using her lover Jake Myers as muscle, which she afterward kills and ships to Egypt in a sarcophagus crate, and framing her other lover, millionaire Roger Andrews, for the killing of his wife, Lana, but before his arrest quickly scams half a million out of him 'for her insane brother' who doesn't exist. The Sloanes must figure out all this and her staged fatal car accident as she really switched identity with psychiatric patient Beverly Scott. Written by KGF Vissers

A rather gruesome episode of Diagnosis Murder
24 September 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Three murders, this really delivered big time on murders. Kendra Masterson ruthlessly gets her boyfriend Jake to murder a designer (she gets all rugged up), then she kills Jake by shipping him off to Egypt, then the icing on the cake is when she bumps off the real Kendra Masterson in a car she runs off the road.

The scene between the real Kendra and the face one (who is really Beverly Scott) was a bit confusing mid-way in the episode and I wonder what Kendra really did.

Beverly committed these murders to settle old scores, as her father, now in a retirement home, got financially ruined by the designer's husband.

This episode screened about 2 months before the epic 2000 US presidential election where Gore won the primary vote.
