Storyline

["Déja vous" is the credit title of the episode in this position; episode AKAs locked presently] Mark isn't too happy to hear the DA had to cut a deal, life instead off execution, with a female murderer to assure conviction for Fredrick Wilson, an even more dangerous doctor-impersonator, but then she's killed in courthouse by a female shooter in a wheelchair. Afterwards Steve meets and dates new Angelino Abby Chadway, looking remarkably like Fredricks sister Lily Wilson, who once had two dates with him (see The Unluckiest Bachelor in LA) and shortly before believed to see on the street; Abby was adopted, and Lily's sister was given up for adoption. Fredrick rewards his fake-handicapped killer Joan with heroine; Jesse finds her dead ODd on it in the hospital, only knowing she was a security guard there; Steves partner and forensics identify her as the killer; Steve finds an equally spider symbol-stamped dose in Wilson's car. An insurance salesman bugs Jesse. Mark warns Steve, Abby may ... Written by KGF Vissers

Intrigue as someone familiar comes into Steve Sloane's life
12 November 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is the third last episode of season 8 of Diagnosis Murder, and it is full of intrigue with memories of Steve's former kind-of-flame coming back through a doppelganger that appears in Steve's frame of vision.

There's more to it than we think, and the truth unravels in a tragic way. It's a shame Diagnosis Murder didn't continue for many more seasons as it is one of my favorites.

This episode was screened at the beginning of the Bush-Cheney era, and ironically, Scott Baio, who was in the first two seasons, became a strong Trumps supporter.

Adam J. Tomei as Tick Tock was a stand out in this episode of Diagnosis Murder.
