Storyline

Where else would two fashion designers hold their wedding but on their catwalk? The groom (Stanley Bomgarden), partner at Mirage Fashions with his bride Tammy, crushes what turns out to be a bomb in a silk bag at the end of their Jewish wedding. Model Nadja Rose is brought to the same hospital, from an overdose of Ecstasy which Stanley had provided, but is saved by Jesse; her father is the reputed Russian druglord "Mike the Mechanic" Rodzinski. Stanley dies, and Steve sees Mike with an explosives expert who is then blown up on his own boat. After two confessions, Dr. Sloan uses his knowledge of psychology to discover the real killer, but must prove it! Written by jeaneva

An intriguing episode (but no Victoria Rowell)
9 October 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is another episode in season 8 that unfortunately doesn't feature Victoria Rowell, but hopefully she will re-appear in the rest of season 8.

Jesse embarks on a romantic interlude with Nadja Rose, the daughter of Mike the Mechanic (played by legendary singer Steve Lawrence), and we aren't sure if Jesse and Nadja formed the beast with two backs if you know what I mean, but hopefully Jesse used protection in any event.

The first murder victim Stanley Bomgarden, died at his own Jewish wedding ceremony, when he suffered major injuries when the glass he stepped on exploded. He died later in hospital, after Jesse's heroic efforts to save him.

Maybe one day Diagnosis Murder will be rebooted, but for now we must enjoy 8 seasons of a fine series.
