Bob and Dave are tasked with assisting Interpol, who are investigating a criminal named McKenna, who is thought to be making an arms deal, the pair arrive at the golf course where the deal is to take place, but are at loggerheads over a promotion.
Such is the quality of the first series, that I didn't think this one was as good as the opening two episodes, sure it's funny, but maybe not as outrageously funny, it does however still have its moments. The usual one liners are here, and seeing the pair squabbling over a promotion was funny, Bob's torture was amusing, and of course plenty of golf club jokes.
The late Jimmy Tarbuck is wonderful, and shows some of the talent that many comedians have for straight drama, he's excellent here. A sign that the show thought outside the box when it came to bringing in names.
