Night on the Town
Prismark1021 June 2023
Arthur Malet makes a return appearance on the detective. This time as a hen pecked husband Walter Craine who is going to Los Angeles on a business trip.

Only his hotel room is going to be above a man called Charlie Silo, a material witness against a mob boss. Captain Matt Holbrook is guarding Silo around the clock.

Ganzer (John Abbott) is the man to permanently silence Silo. He needs access to Walter's room.

Luckily Walter likes to get carried away while on his big city trip, especially where pretty ladies are concerned. Ganzer sends beautiful blonde Viola (Mari Blanchard) to charm, wine and dine Walter. Enough to get Walter out of his hotel room for a night out so Ganzer can give his room an explosive makeover.

I guess it would have been easier if Captain Holbrook would had just rented Walter's room!

With Malet, this is another more comedic episode. Although you have to wonder why Viola could not be seductive, so Walter does not return to his room at 10pm.
