Storyline

Dr. Ron informs Susan that she needs a spleenectomy, but it's the doctor's first time, which makes the neurotic Susan even more uneasy. Gabrielle is not pleased when Carlos brings up the topic of "baby" again as Carlos still wants to continue trying to conceive again. Gabrielle and her arch-enemy Sister Mary Bernard finally face off in a major cat-fight in church when Gabrielle confronts her about getting rid of her from Carlos' life. Tom decides to apply for an empty position at Lynette's firm, which revives past issues in their marriage. Matthew and Danielle's romantic relationship is found out by both their mothers, with major repercussions later on when Betty silences Bree by threatening to tell the authorities about Bree helping Andrew cover up the hit-and-run accident last year if Bree tells anyone about Caleb's presence. An Episode That Has It All
2 April 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

There's Something About a War is definitely a great episode. In it,we get to see Dr. Ron and Susan go to bed for the first time.Obviously,it was the doctor is still a virgin which leads Susan rather to feel rather awkward and uneasy. Also, the doctor inform her that she needs to undergo splenectomy or a surgery to remove the entire spleen, which is a delicate, fist-sized organ that sits under the left rib cage near the stomach.Meanwhile,Gabrielle is not so pleased when Carlos brings up the topic of of having a baby. This leads to Carlos to wanting to have Gabby get pregnant again. Also,Gabrielle and her arch-enemy Sister Mary Bernard finally face off in church when the latter confronts the former about getting rid of her from Carlos' life. Also, Matthew and Danielle's relationship is found out by both their respective mothers. This leads to big repercussions later on for Bree and her past secret with Andrew last year. Finally,Tom decides to apply for a vacant position at Lynette's job. This leads to the arousal of past issues in their marriage. This is definitely is one episode that contains everything that a viewer looks forward to the Desperate Housewives. It has drama, humor and great story lines for all four main characters. I am looking forward to see the next one.
