After a break-in on Wisteria Lane, Susan feels vulnerable and accepts a date with a policeman after Mike shows her no interest. Bree begins to bond with Zach, Mary Alice's troubled son, after Rex takes the kids away for the weekend. Meanwhile, Lynette and Tom try to get Porter and Preston into a prestigious private school, and Carlos' mother visits which puts a strain on Gabrielle's hidden affair with John.

This is one of the episode that you knew that this show is going to be not only a big hit but a classic as well. The bonding between Zach and Bree was one of the best things about this series. Also,we get to see more about Bree's character and got to know her better. The same can be said with Susan as she accepts a date with Mike.Gabrielle's storyline was also worth mentioning about considering that she is having an affair and her mother-in-law's presence make it more interesting as well due to the added tension put into it.Also,we get to see Lynette more as a parent. In the end,one knows that this is one great series.
