Plum crazy, and quickly forgettable.

Warning: Spoilers
When the women and their men (with the exception of the lone Suzanne) decide to go on a trip to a cabin in the woods, they end up at a restaurant/saloon where they encounter Daddy Jones (Dub Taylor) and his boys who insist on dancing with the women. Big city sophistication vs. the men of the backwoods creates a disturbing situation that results in violence, not very funny, and not flattering to country folk.

It's the return of J.D. who had left Atlanta, and the last appearance of Hal Holbrook as Reese. In a funnier episode down the road, Dub Taylor would return, but this one is not funny in the least. At least the cabin in the woods on the lake was pretty, but it's one that will be on my skip button the next time I do a season four marathon.

Ridiculous

This episode is embarrassing. Deliverance is a horrible movie and this episode perpetuating the myth of the Georgia woods being peopled by moronic, toothless, hillbillies is disgusting. I am ashamed that someone thought this story was funny.
