Julia's even more humiliated in this episode when she mooned all of Atlanta in a fashion show, here dealing with having her head stuck in the one of a kind Abbott banister while goofing off. They are decorating the governor's mansion for a ball that everyone (with the exception of Suzanne) has received an invitation for. They have to deal with the nervous Ann Hearn (complete with spittle), mansion manager, already panicked enough, with instructions of no pins and certainly no saw.
This is another example of how the episode can still garner laughs 30 years later when they deal with situations that are guaranteed giggle makers rather than inspire social conciseness. Everybody's funny here, especially the game Dixie Carter who really knows how to be dignified, even with her head stuck in a bannister. Also another opportunity for Suzanne to express herself in the way only she can: "Big woo."
