Jawaharlal Nehru was never president of India, having instead held the post of prime minister. While Nehru was prime minister minister, the heads of state were George VI (represented by governors-generals during the brief period India was a constitutional monarchy), and Rajendra Prasad and Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, respectively (after India had transitioned to a republic).
