Warning: Spoilers
Bernice takes over as receptionist, and it's a classic montage of crazy phone calls. The episode another one ripped off from "Golden Girls" where the girls try to write a song for the upcoming Atlanta Olympics. It's Carlene who comes up with the lyrics, certainly better than "Those good old days. They were good. They were old, they were days." Then there's Heather, the rather geeky girl who becomes their first groupie who has her own agenda, and ends up being one of the most obviously unlikable characters in the show's history. Ironically, it's Alison who sees right through her and sets into motion the plot to stop her. Of course the way Allison does it makes it appear obnoxious, but at least in this case, she is correct. As Mary Jo says, "She's like one of those happy face buttons. You know one of those button that supposed to make you happy, but really ticks you off." But it's worth putting up with the character of Heather to get to the payoff.
