Wolfram von Schulze-Westorp comes to the hotel and asks the porter about escort girls.He chooses to meet Ilona Keller,they have a drink in the bar, then they eat in the restaurant of the hotel.Wolfram makes a lot of questions to Ilona.Then he proposes to carry her to her apartment.Gerrit, Ilona's friend calls Ilona and asks her "What happens" and Ilona answers that Wolfram is a complicated man.Wolfram leaves the partment.One day later Ilona is found dead by two shots in her apartment.Derrick manages to identify the man who was with Ilona and also visit Wolfram's bourgeois family which is quite reluctant to collaborate with the police.
Melodie des Todes is a very good episode with some important surprises and a touch of suspense.The main character (Wolfram von Schulze-Westorp) is played by Helmut Zierl, a quite famous German actor who participated in the Rosamunde Pilcher and Inga Lindstrom series.
