I found the whole event very funny and very plausible. Mr. Wilson, Joseph Kearns, was brilliant as always. I think he created one of the funniest characters in TV history and he and Jay made this series memorable. When Wilson hides his rare coin under the blotter and Mrs. Wilson brushes that coin onto the floor for Dennis to find it certainly could happen. Watching that scene with Wilson emptying the vacuum cleaner and then searching for the coin with Dennis in the fountain was priceless. Down at the police station finding out the coin seller is a schyster and calling for his nerve medicine was a great moment. Kearns played the persnickety retiree haunted by the kid next door to near perfection.
