Casey Jones: This is the 22nd Precinct. Some people call it "The Jungle Patrol." In this place where rowboat rides lead to safe harbors, the only crime committed should be a stolen kiss. There were no kisses in the park that night - unless you want to count the kiss of death.

***SPOILERS*** It's when Ken Morgan was found shot to death while dog walking in Central Park that police woman Casey Jones , Beverly Garland, was put on the case in that being a woman she had that woman's intuition in knowing the reason for him being murdered. That in Casey losing her boyfriend, a NYD police detective, in a crime of passion the same way that his, as well as Ken's, killer was described as being a very mentally unstable and dangerous person. Right away the #1 suspect in the crime is Ken's ex-girlfriend Wendy Jenkins, Suzanne Pleshette, in that she's been reportedly pestering the man for the last six month at home and on his job.

As Casey soon discovers that there's more to Ken's untimely death or murder then what meets the eye! Being handsome and rich Ken had women falling all over him but the person who murdered Ken, by plugging him six times, wasn't exactly having a hot and heavy romance with him that suddenly went sour.It was that person that Casey would soon uncover not due to any great job of police work on her part but due to his killer herself. In going a bit to far to implicate the grieving Wendy Jenkins for the crime that the murderer committed showed Casey who the real killer of Ken Morgan was. And by knowing that it was just a matter of time that the noose will tighten around his neck that Ken's killer jumped the gun in trying to plant evidence against Wendy that had Casey, who suspected who Ken's killer was, get the jump on him or her.

It's every man's, that straight man, dream to have women go so nuts and crazy over them to the point of killing each other in order to win his love and affection. in this case a women did go nuts, to the point of murder, over handsome Ken Morgan but the person who got killed who not the one that was fighting over Ken but Ken himself! And as for the person who murdered Ken in the end she not only lost him but lost her freedom as well!
