Jarring

Warning: Spoilers
Having seen him so happy in the previous episode it is a shame that John is n despair again here, after Liz has gone off with someone else, which seems jarring.

There's some nice moments though along the way, but I'd prefer the 1-2-1 meetings taking more screen time like they did in S1.

Very poor.

John's weekend away with Liz in Torquay turns to failure, we she meets another man. Ken explains to John that has having an operation.

Oh no, the show is definitely running out of steam very quickly. When you think of everything that made the first series such a massive success, it doesn't have much of that anymore, it's really struggling.

I really missed seeing the 1-2-1 club, it really was the main focus, the constant, with that absent, it just doesn't work.

One or two very minor chuckles courtesy of Rachel Bell, but on the whole it's just not very funny. Sue Holderness has been a fine addition, very, very talented actress, she's a cut above.

I struggle to believe that John fell in love with Liz, I just don't see it somehow, Kate yes, Liz and Wendy no.

4/10.
