Quotes

Whitney Ellsworth: [talking to a dog digging at the ground] He's down that hole for a fact. Pitiful as your pursued him... you better hope he ain't got space enough to roll around, hold his side, bust a gut laughing. Tell all the other woodchucks at the club this afternoon. He might not even call it an escape. Might just call it his morning's entertainment.

Introduces the second Saloon
6 July 2009 | by (Netherlands) – See all my reviews

A fantastic third episode with some excellent performances and dialog.

This episode introduces the second Saloon, owned by the most despicable bastard of the entire series (sans Steve). His name is Cy Tolliver, he does not seem to be so bad right now but he will be before the first season ends. Two other important characters are introduced; the wonderful and gorgeous Joanie and Eddie. Both are mostly homosexual though Eddie was never deeply developed.

The main storyline in this episode are setting up the Wild Bill Hickock persona and the fate of Brom Garett.

I love Wild Bill, he was such a tragic person. His scenes with Montana aka Seth are great. And Jane's character is so sweet to him, she was never that sweet to anybody. Not even Joanie.

Brom's character is just a dumbass, he threatens Al which put him in his grave. On a plus side, Dan found some gold.

FOUR and a half stars.
