Johnny Smith's life seems idyllic, he has a loving mother and is dating the love of his life, Sarah. But he is in a car accident and ends up in a coma for 6 years. When he wakes up he discovers he has an unusual ability; when he touches someone, he can sense something about them or someone close to them. He sensed that a person child was in danger and that his doctor's mother is alive and not dead as he was told. He would later sense a serial killer and tries to tell the Sheriff Walt Bannerman who is now married to Sarah. And he doesn't believe Johnny so he and his therapist, Bruce tries to find the killer themselves. Written by

Dead Zone's Cronenberg is the basis for this series that changing nothing to the picture,but now as series have a long way to explore the Stephen King's novel,in this episode presenting the main character with the car's accident and after six years in coma wake up with psychic power and quickly learn that new situation is a way of no return!!Great premise.
